Family Violence Specialist Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Violence Specialist Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work directly with individuals impacted by family violence, delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care within an integrated practice framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of family violence clients, delivering support through assessments, triage, and crisis interventions.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage complex situations, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement tailored intervention plans.
- Provide advocacy and support for victims of family violence, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
- Engage in cross-sector collaboration with justice and social services to ensure a holistic response.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent (or working towards one).
- In-depth knowledge of the drivers of family violence, child and family vulnerability, and experience in the social services sector.
- Experience in risk management and applying frameworks in a family violence setting.
- Strong communication skills with experience in public speaking, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency settings.
