Home Lending Specialist

As a Home Lending Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their home ownership dreams.

You will thrive on building lasting relationships and making a real impact in your local communities. Supported by a strong referral pipeline from local real estate and rural teams, you will be the first point of contact for customers - delivering tailored lending solutions to a variety of clients through their home loan journey.

About the Role
  • Analyse client financials to identify suitable lending options, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with lenders to negotiate favourable terms and conditions, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Prepare loan applications, collaborating with senior management on strategies for business growth and expansion.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and provide guidance on lending options, fostering long-term relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry networks, identifying opportunities for partnerships and growth.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or residential lending, with a proven track record of success.
  • Certification in Mortgage Broking or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of lending products, loan structures, and credit assessment processes, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and drive results.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
