We are seeking a skilled Environmental and Cultural Heritage Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental or Cultural Heritage Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the environmental impact of our projects and ensuring that we meet our cultural heritage obligations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for environmental management and cultural heritage to make a real difference in our community. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, local councils, and community groups, to ensure that our projects are delivered in accordance with state and federal laws.

  • You will provide expert guidance and support on environmental and cultural heritage matters across regional and major projects.
  • You will negotiate with First Nations groups to meet legislative obligations and enable project delivery.
  • You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align environmental and cultural heritage outcomes with our objectives.
  • You will deliver specialist advice in high-risk and technically complex projects.
  • You will communicate clearly and effectively, tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
