Our organization is dedicated to preserving significant places, collections, and stories. We manage a diverse portfolio of heritage properties across the state.

About This Role
  • Provide high-level strategic advice on heritage matters, legislation, planning provisions, and appeals.
  • Work closely with site teams and stakeholders to ensure best-practice heritage management.
  • Deliver interpretation strategies and shape advocacy initiatives that align with our mission to conserve Queensland's cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Represent us at industry panels and government consultations.
  • Support the development and delivery of impactful advocacy campaigns.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to informed heritage assessments, research and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in heritage services (5+ years).
  • Registration with the Board of Architects in Queensland and/or tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning, Archaeology, Heritage Conservation or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland heritage legislation, including the Qld Heritage Act 1992, Regulations 2003, and Queensland Planning Act 2016.
