Job Title: Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and leadership, with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and execute special events, including marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Select, train, and supervise waiting and kitchen staff, monitoring their work and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Roster and schedule staff, assisting with payroll as needed.
  • Plan menus in consultation with chefs, kitchen staff, and owners, ensuring that dishes are crafted with meticulous care and attention to detail.
  • Ensure that eating areas are clean, operational, and visually appealing, meeting health and safety requirements.
  • Manage staff performance, including sales and expenditure targets, and arrange motivational rewards.
  • Purchase goods and price them according to budgeted figures, maintaining stock levels and reordering as needed.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports and assist with recording daily transactions.
  • Communicate with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, addressing complaints and special requirements.
  • Handle reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order-taking.
About You:
  • Minimum of two years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager.
  • Formal qualification in Hospitality Management (Diploma or Higher).
  • Demonstrate management experience.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A team player and a supportive leader.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
