Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel
">- Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including services, technology, licensing and distribution agreements.
- Navigating regulatory obligations such as APRA Prudential Standards and privacy compliance is also a key requirement.
- Advise on third-party risk and help shape internal procurement policies and tools to ensure alignment and risk mitigation across initiatives.
- Partner with Procurement, Legal, Cyber, Risk and Finance teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Support the uplift of contract management processes and procurement systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5+ years' PQE with a strong focus on commercial and procurement contracts.
- Experience gained in-house or in private practice, preferably in financial services, technology or other regulated sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of risk allocation, contract governance and vendor compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Clear, concise communicator with a pragmatic and collaborative style.
