As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role requires you to be dynamic, confident and ambitious; someone who excels in their role and helps our guests succeed too.
We are seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to work approximately 2 to 5 nights per week. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests and will play a key role in ensuring they have an exceptional stay with us.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with Guests: Greet every guest warmly and take the initiative to engage them throughout their stay.
- Understand Guest Needs: Read each guest's mood and adapt your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Relate to Guest Expectations: Identify what is important to each guest and focus on delivering it perfectly.
- Servicing IHG Rewards Club Members and Returning Guests: Recognize and acknowledge these guests by name when checking in or over the phone.
- Supporting the Night Manager: Work closely with the Night Manager to ensure the safety and security of guests overnight.
- Handling Payments: Take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings efficiently.
- Streamlining Check-In and Check-Out: Make these processes swift and seamless for all guests.
- Being a Trusted Contact: Assist guests with queries, provide recommendations, and make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
Requirements">
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively. Additionally, you should be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential. What is crucial is that you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to going above and beyond to exceed our guests' expectations.
