Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cargo warehouse facility.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and be able to drive a customer-centric service culture within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, organising and coordinating all work areas during an operational shift;
  • Providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence;
  • Ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to deliver operational requirements;
  • Delivering business processes and standard operating procedures ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies;
  • Providing quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues;

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a positive safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance;
  • Conducting work in accordance with Health & Safety Management System guidelines;
  • Following all safety work procedures and adhering to safety guidelines provided;
  • Participating in emergency drills and/or evacuations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent leadership experience and a commitment to driving a customer-centric service culture;
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, and negotiation skills;
  • A high level of computer literacy;
  • Previous experience in a highly controlled and regulated industry;
  • Understanding of financial processes and ability to drive business improvement initiatives;
