Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Care Associate. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to residents, enhancing their well-being and empowering them to live with dignity.

In this position, you will work collaboratively within our Better Together social model of aging well, which offers a continuum of care and support services. You will build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and family members, maintaining health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of yourself and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support that enhances residents' quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care services
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of resident interactions and progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work morning shifts across a seven-day roster
