Job Title: Disability Support Care Associate
Key Job Responsibilities:- Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily lives, including personal care tasks and medication administration.
- Provide support to participants in SIL houses, promoting community engagement and social inclusion.
- Administer subcutaneous injections and perform ongoing blood glucose level checks as required.
- Valid right to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Minimum one year experience as a Disability Support Worker.
- Relevant qualification in nursing or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in SIL house environments.
- Ability to assist clients with challenging behaviors.
The successful candidate will be working in the client's home environment, providing support and assistance as needed. This role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Personal Qualities:The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to providing person-centered care is essential for this role.
