Key responsibilities of the role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue through building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, identifying prospective donors and philanthropic opportunities, and soliciting gifts. You will cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-value donors and manage associated research, reporting, and administration.

Delivering high-touch, creative, and bespoke relationship-focused fundraising activities will strengthen our philanthropic journey. This role will contribute to transforming our systems and processes and shifting towards a more propositional approach with donors.

Additionally, you will support the Philanthropy team in developing and executing strategies, contribute to discussions, and collaborate with the broader Engagement department to ensure the effective delivery of fundraising targets and initiatives.

Required skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in relationship or campaign fundraising
  • Knowledge of broad fundraising principles and industry practices
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
