About the Opportunity

We are seeking a senior professional to drive revenue growth through strategic fundraising initiatives with a focus on major gifts.

  • This position collaborates closely with senior leadership to identify and develop fundraising priorities and strategies, driving team performance and diversifying revenue streams.
  • You will play a key role in our forthcoming campaign, building on established relationships and utilizing your skills to secure significant major and principal gifts, including $1 million+ closings and personal fundraising targets.

    Environmental Institute - A national and world leader in multidisciplinary environmental research, known for work in the environmental humanities and social sciences;
    Sydney Southeast Asia Centre - Supporting research, education and partnerships in Southeast Asia.
About You

  • substantial experience in major gift fundraising, with a proven ability to identify and negotiate $1 million plus gift opportunities;
  • a strong track record of achievement and meeting stretch financial targets;

  • experience leading high-performing teams and managing individual pipelines;
  • highly developed emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and exceptional interpersonal skills;

  • demonstrated mentoring/coaching of junior colleagues;
  • superior time-management, prioritisation, and organisation skills;
