Job Overview:
Procurement Leadership RoleThis position involves leading the procurement team, overseeing the organisation's procurement requirements, and developing strategies to improve supply chain operations.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Procurement and work primarily onsite at the Canberra Hospital or CHS Distribution Centre.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage the procurement branch, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of procurement activities
- Develop and maintain budgets for procurement operations, tracking expenses and optimising resource allocation
- Oversee four teams: Procurement Clinical Equipment, Procurement Inventory and Services, Supply Chain, and Supply Operations
- Maintain accreditation under the ACT Government Procurement Framework as a Level 4 - Advanced (Lead Buyer)
- Complete a pre-employment National Police Check
- Comply with Canberra Health Services' Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy
