Procurement Specialist Role

The role of Procurement Specialist requires delivering high-quality procurement advice and guidance to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Providing expert procurement advice to business areas on the procurement process including approach to market, conducting market search, contract mechanism, and panel arrangements.
- Reviewing procurement documentation such as spending proposals, procurement plans, approach to market documentation, and contracts.
- Maintaining and promoting internal and external stakeholder relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the Resource Management Framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and their application. A Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) would be highly desirable.
