Sales Representative Foodservice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our Foodservice Field Team in NSW. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generating new business, and managing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Maintain and develop strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generate new business, and manage accounts.
- Business Relationships: Initiate and ensure a responsive approach to the sales marketing territory requirements.
- Reporting Business Outcomes: Ensure proactive reporting of all sales requirements.
- Corporate Citizenship: Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, including agreements and approval processes, pricing and quotations, expense reporting, and use of standard terms and conditions.
- Teamwork: Contribute as an effective member of the Foodservice Team, including mentoring new staff, contributing to team outcomes/goals, developing and maintaining effective communication.
- Distributors: Conduct "cook-ups" and product presentations and visit distributors as per call cycle.
- End-users: Visit end-users as per call cycle, conduct product presentations and cook-ups as required, launch new SKUs as directed by State Field Sales Manager, maintain key accounts.
- Other: Complete call cycle planning and updating customer databases, ad hoc support as directed by the State Field Sales Manager.
We are looking for a self-starter with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, a strong team player with the ability to relate to and build relationships with all levels of the organisation. You should have good organisational skills, efficiently schedule your own time and activities to meet all project time frames, and good Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to analyse some business data and report outcomes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within the foodservice industry would be an advantage.
- Self-starter – motivated to seek action beyond specific position responsibilities.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong team player, with the ability to relate to and build relationships with all levels of the organisation.
- Good organisational skills – efficiently schedule own time and activities to meet all project time frames.
- Good Microsoft Office skills including the ability to analyse some business data and report outcomes.
- Capacity to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to participate as part of a challenging team environment.
- Australian Drivers Licence.
