About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work on various painting projects, preparing sites for painting, and supporting painters with their tasks. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and a focus on health and safety.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so it's essential to be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding and covering fixtures
  • Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping and removing old paint
  • Filling cracks and holes with appropriate materials (e.g., plaster)
  • Mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
  • Painting surfaces according to instructions with various tools
  • Applying varnish and other finishes
  • Calculating costs and negotiating prices
  • Taking and adhering to all health and safety precautions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of physical fitness and endurance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to follow instructions and take direction
  • A focus on health and safety
  • Basic knowledge of painting techniques and materials
Salary and Benefits
