Structural Engineering Opportunities

We are seeking skilled engineers to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

Graduates will work across a range of engineering business units, including:

  • E-7A Wedgetail – airborne surveillance and communications capabilities.
  • MQ-28 Ghost Bat – mission systems development and integration for unmanned aircraft.
  • Sustainment Operations – maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrades of military equipment.
  • Joint Systems – defence communications systems and networks design, development and sustainment.
Your Role as a Structural Engineer

As a structural engineer, you will provide technical support for air vehicle structures throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing engineering solutions for product defects.
  • Developing modification kits through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Creating technical documentation (e.g. instructions, manuals, procedures and risk assessments) to support ongoing product operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in a professional and inclusive manner.
Requirements and Eligibility

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in engineering or a related field. They must also be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
