About the Role

As an Allied Health Assistant in Residential Aged Care, you will play a pivotal part in supporting older individuals to remain active, independent, and connected to their communities.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and services that cater to the unique needs of our residents. This includes:

  • Supporting mobility and functional programs for residents
  • Assisting with restorative therapy and falls prevention
  • Facilitating active ageing group sessions and pressure care plans
  • Collaborating with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff to deliver resident-centred support

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team through our award-winning Plena Care Pathway, helping to deliver reablement-focused programs that make a real difference in residents' lives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Allied Health Assistants (Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance)
  • Current Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy students seeking hands-on experience in aged care are encouraged to apply
  • Australian working rights
  • National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within a dedicated region
