Key Responsibilities- Design and Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of data center critical infrastructure systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and tool optimization to enhance the design and delivery process, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Metrics and Reporting: Create and track metrics related to cost, quality, and duration of design, as well as collecting data from construction and commissioning teams to inform design improvements.
- Capital Project Design: Establish capital project design budgets and contribute to complex business cases for existing and new region deployments.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with AWS finance teams to secure funding for projects, and work with internal customers to establish project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Document Control: Manage document controllers' workflow and audit of deliverables to ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Interface Management: Manage interfaces, stakeholders' coordination, and have oversight on follow-through from due diligence to design, to construction to operations across project life cycle.
- Permitting and Approvals: Drive permits approvals and interface with respective Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
