This is an exciting opportunity for an EL1 Service designer to join this busy team for a short-term temporary assignment.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading research initiatives to gain valuable insights into the agency's operations.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Overseeing the design and development of current state services, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to advocate for participant and staff needs, ensuring seamless end-to-end service experiences.

You will also be responsible for designing and testing future experiences through design-thinking sessions with service users.

In addition, you will apply your expertise in understanding the role and functions of the agency, as well as its impacts across various work areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Journey mapping to identify complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Systems thinking to understand the interconnections between various components.
  • Stakeholder engagement to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • User research and analysis to gather data-driven insights.
  • Report writing to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Prototyping and testing to validate ideas and refine solutions.
  • Data analysis and synthesis to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Workshop facilitation and co-design principles to engage participants and foster collaboration.
