The Brisbane Catholic Education System is seeking an experienced senior leader to join their school performance team. The successful candidate will work closely with principals and functional managers to provide guidance and support to schools within assigned clusters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catholic Identity: Lead schools in developing a contemporary Catholic perspective, supporting principals in deepening their spiritual formation and that of their staff.
  • Professional Learning: Effectively manage staff mobility, succession planning and resources to meet school needs.
  • School Management: Assist principals in fulfilling management responsibilities while providing direction on critical incidents, financial management, external reporting and audits.
  • Internal and External Compliance and Reporting: Monitor, evaluate, and promote high-quality learning and teaching to improve student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a principal or leadership role within an educational setting.
  • People leadership skills to build culture, capability and capacity within multiple school teams.
  • Effectiveness in managing teams to drive system performance and strategic directions.
  • Ability to translate strategic plans into operational plans to lead and mobilise principals.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practices in learning and teaching.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
