We are seeking a seasoned specialist to join our team in WA. This critical role demands expertise in developing and implementing robust industrial relations strategies that align with program objectives and national interests.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and delivering industrial relations strategies that manage risk and align with business objectives.
  2. Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships across the business and externally.
  3. Negotiating agreements and executing related strategies.
  4. Creating policies, procedures, governance frameworks, toolkits, and training materials related to industrial relations matters.
  5. Providing expert advice and training to stakeholders across the program.
  6. Managing investigations and disciplinary processes for the program.
  7. Proactively resolving IR matters, disputes, and grievances to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  8. Offering strategic advice to Integrated Project Teams regarding workforce composition and planning.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of employment law and industrial relations principles.
  • Experience in contributing to the development of an IR strategy.
  • Demonstrated 5-10 years work experience in a legal/industrial relations-based role.
  • Experience working with joint venture programs and applying relevant legislation.
