Job Title: Payroll Supervisor

AccountAbility is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for driving operational payroll for key business divisions, leading a team of experienced Payroll Officers, and ensuring payroll processes are compliant and best practice.

About the Role
  • Drive operational payroll for key business divisions
  • Lead a team of 3 experienced Payroll Officers
  • Point of escalation for team members and Business Leaders
  • Review manual payments and calculations such as Terminations
  • Generate final payment run reports
  • Build relationships with cross-functional Payroll Leaders and other key stakeholders
  • GL Reconciliation and Upload to ERP System
  • Regularly Audit Integration of EA Rules in Payroll and Rostering System

This is a permanent role that offers a clear, divisionalised structure with three payroll teams. The new structure has created an opportunity for progression and leadership support from a dedicated Supervisor.

About the Team

The Head of Payroll has exceptional tenure with the business and has expert knowledge of the organisation, relevant payroll legislation, and systems architecture. She is the epitome of 'lead by example' and has the bandwidth to promote payroll to the organisation and support the development of the team.

The Senior Management team values payroll and has offered internal promotion and opportunities to existing team members. This is an organisation that invests in your payroll career.
