Glen Eira Leisure is currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a Support Officer for the Every Body Active (EBA) Program.

The EBA Program aims to remove barriers preventing people with disabilities from participating in physical activity. As an EBA Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing physical and emotional support to clients, enabling them to engage with their community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients to use Glen Eira Leisure facilities, including the Health Club, Group Fitness classes, and Aquatics/Hydrotherapy
  • Providing personal care and assistance with mobility transfers
  • Manual handling and other duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people of all abilities
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team that champions inclusivity and diversity
  • Will to adapt to changing client needs and program requirements

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Proven leadership experience and achievement of results in the leisure industry
  • Significant experience delivering leisure programs
  • Comprehensive customer service experience
  • Level 2 First Aid with CPR certification
  • Manual Handling Training
