Finance Officer Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support our finance operations in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and code invoices, ensuring timely approval and accurate payment.
- Manage accounts payable services, including reconciling supplier statements and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Handle inquiries from suppliers and employees, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Support travel allowance payments and other financial administration tasks.
- Contribute to team-based finance activities, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience providing accounting or finance support, preferably in accounts payable.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Basware (or similar) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and general accounting practices.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Awareness of WHS obligations, EEO principles, and public sector standards.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be proactive, and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
