Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of non-complex adult clients using established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
  • Provide individualised rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as necessary
  • Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists when required
  • Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
  • Collaborate with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, allied health professionals and support agencies to ensure best practice outcomes for each client
  • Engage in marketing/public relations activities within the community as needed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, manage client loads and meet performance targets
Requirements:
  • Completion of a tertiary qualification in Audiology
  • Full membership with the Audiology Society of Australia
  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology procedures and Australian Audiology standards
  • Understanding of the Hearing Services Program
  • Experience working with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
  • Ability to travel to various locations to undertake clinical work
  • Flexibility to adapt to business changes and implement new practices
