Audiologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team and provide high-quality hearing services to individuals in need.

  • As an Audiologist, you will assess auditory problems of non-complex adult clients using Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
  • You will provide appropriate rehabilitative support, including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories, and/or communication strategies as needed.
  • Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists when necessary.
  • Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
  • Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health professionals, and support agencies to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
  • Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology is essential.
  • Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia is also required.
  • You should have sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards.
  • Familiarity with the Hearing Services Program is desirable.
  • Exposure to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme is beneficial.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work are essential.
  • Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products, and policies is crucial.
