Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of electrical equipment and systems
  2. Responding promptly to any equipment failures or breakdowns, diagnosing the issue and implementing effective repairs
  3. Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  4. Collaborating with colleagues across different departments to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  5. Providing guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent)
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide leadership and guidance when required
