About the Position

The Employment Tax team seeks an experienced professional to collaborate with clients in adapting to complex regulatory environments while optimizing their employment tax obligations.

  • Tax research and interpretation of legislation and case law
  • Generalist Business Tax or Employment Tax expertise
  • Communication and relationship-building skills
  • Personal drive and ambition to learn as a trusted adviser
  • Data analytics, including emerging technologies like Alteryx, SQL, and AI
Key Responsibilities
  • Helping employers understand and meet Australian employment tax and entitlement obligations
  • Using data analytics for decision-making purposes
  • Partnering with clients for regulatory reviews, investigations, disclosures, and remediation support
  • Automating employment tax functions using technology
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions with employment tax due diligence
  • Developing general employment tax advice for employers
