AHS Legal is a boutique legal and advisory firm specialising in tax and 'tax adjacent' matters such as structuring and succession/estate planning.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lawyer/Tax Advisor located in Sydney, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Lawyer/Tax Advisor will be responsible for providing legal and tax-related advice, including tax planning and legal document review/preparation/drafting.

Day-to-day tasks will involve handling tax queries, preparing and reviewing tax and legal documents, and conducting extensive research. The role would suit someone with strong knowledge of tax law and the ability to navigate complex legal and financial scenarios.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Exceptional Research and Writing skills essential
  • Experience in handling Tax Reviews preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Tax Law preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Law degree or chartered accountant (CA) essential
  • Experience in legal and tax advisory roles is a plus but not essential for a candidate with the right attitude and ambition
