Employment Tax
  • Deliver expert employment tax guidance on FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, Salary Packaging, and Due Diligence.
  • Review key deliverables, collaborate across teams, and deliver training to clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Expert Employment Tax Advice:
    • Research and provide written guidance on Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, and Salary Packaging.
    • Collaborate with other business units to offer specialist insights.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality:
    • Review and prepare annual FBT returns, payroll tax filings, and superannuation guarantee calculations.
    • Leverage technology and big data to support compliance and uncover actionable insights.
  • Engage and Educate:
    • Liaise directly with clients and regulatory bodies.
    • Lead training seminars for both clients and internal teams to build understanding and capability in employment tax matters.
Requirements:
  • Strong Technical and Analytical Skills:
    • Brings 1–3 years of employment tax experience with large organizations.
    • Excellent MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
    • Proven confidence in handling data and performing detailed analysis.
  • Adaptable and Growth-Oriented:
    • Skilled at managing multiple priorities independently and within teams.
    • Strong attention to detail and a desire to continuously learn and embrace new technologies and ways of working.
