About the Role

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure across our restaurants and head office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide top-notch technical support to our restaurants and head office employees, ensuring all IT systems operate at their best.
  • IT Infrastructure Setup: Set up IT infrastructure for new restaurant openings, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Project Work: Handle project work and implementations, including installing, maintaining, and repairing IT devices and systems.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Service Desk Management: Manage Service Desk processes, including incident handling, service requests, and problem management.
  • Rotating Roster: Work a rotating roster and be available for weekend shifts if needed.
  • IT Infrastructure Optimization: Support and optimize IT infrastructure, including POS systems, workstations, networks, menu boards, printing, media players, and IP telephony.
  • IT Stock Management: Manage IT stock inventory and database, specializing in software used by Guzman y Gomez.
  • Network Performance: Provide ongoing support for network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • IT Training: Assist in creating and delivering IT training sessions for end-users.
  • Junior Support: Support and train junior IT Support team members.
  • Knowledge Gaps: Identify knowledge gaps within the IT support team and help document and address them.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
  • Networking Knowledge: A working knowledge of networking and PC hardware.
