About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Delivery Capability team at AIA. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering business and systems analysis services associated with tactical and Enterprise projects.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead and execute end-to-end business analysis activities within projects and programs of work, working closely with stakeholders to plan, scope, manage, and define business needs. This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about creating innovative solutions and has strong communication skills to present findings verbally and in reports.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and determine business problems and opportunities, applying fit-for-purpose analysis approaches, plans, methodology, and practices.
  • Lead, manage, and execute end-to-end analysis activities, deliverables, and outcomes, ensuring delivery of analysis activities by other practitioners.
  • Collaborate across business, technology, and operational support teams to design and implement agreed changes to work practices, processes, and systems.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Analysis Community of Practice at AIA, generating community and stakeholder buy-in, promoting, and ensuring the value and benefits of the Analysis CoE are understood.
  • Develop project analysis plans, identify project problems, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • Significant working experience in Business Analysis, leading and delivering Business Analysis services in large and complex projects.
  • Experience working within a professional enterprise project delivery function in a similar/medium-large-sized organization is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated project delivery acumen and significant experience in delivering Business Analysis services within a professional enterprise change/project delivery function.
  • Experience in delivering change via planned (waterfall) and agile-driven project management methodologies and governance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within the Insurance or Financial Services industry is preferred.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
