Job Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and motivated property lawyer to support a dynamic legal team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across complex acquisitions and disposals, development and construction projects, leasing and finance matters for businesses delivering mixed-use developments. The General Counsel is highly regarded and great to work with.

About the Role
  • Provide legal advice and support across a broad range of property, construction and commercial matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate various contracts and agreements to support business operations.
  • Conduct due diligence and identify legal risks on transactions, providing clear and practical recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and achieve strong commercial outcomes.
  • Assist with dispute management and resolution when required.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to wider team initiatives.
Requirements
  • Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
  • Practising as a property or commercial lawyer for 4+ years in private practice or in-house.
  • Strong knowledge of property and commercial law with well-developed drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated, with clear communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
