Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced property lawyer to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional commercial property law, with a minimum of 4 years' PQE from a well-regarded law firm or similar in-house environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating general commercial and property agreements such as confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, minor works agreements and construction agreements.
  • Assisting with leasing matters and managing tenant disputes.
  • Providing support on property acquisition, disposal and capital and/or co-investment opportunities and mandate matters as required.
  • Updating precedent documents, conducting research, and providing training to the business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4 years' PQE from a well-regarded law firm or similar in-house environment.
  • Transaction experience in commercial property law.
  • Prior experience in high-value property acquisitions is preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing leases ideally in the retail sector is also beneficial.
