Job Opportunity: Property Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced property lawyer to join our team.

  • Prepare and review leases, lease-related documentation, and other legal agreements.
  • Manage sales of residential and commercial properties, including mortgagee in possession transactions.
  • Provide expert advice on discharges, estate management, contaminated land, tax treatment, and Crown leases.
  • Supervise and mentor junior solicitors across our national team.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and improve client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting for landlords and tenants, preparing leases and lease-related documentation. They will also manage sales of residential and commercial properties, including mortgagee in possession transactions.

Our ideal candidate will have significant post-admission experience in property law, with a focus on leasing, residential, and commercial transactions. They should have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused approach.

They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, they should be able to manage high volumes of files and deliver within fixed timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Significant post-admission experience in property law
