We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing practical and operational technical support for teaching and projects in the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education (HSSCE).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the department/Faculty in their area of expertise and ensuring efficient setup and provision of chemicals, materials and equipment for the smooth delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate Life Science practical classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing technical support for teaching and projects in the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education (HSSCE)
  • Supporting the department/Faculty in their area of expertise
  • Ensuring efficient setup and provision of chemicals, materials and equipment for practical classes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Good organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload
  • Able to work independently and as a team member to maintain accurate records
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
