Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at DPV Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatment, screening and support programs to clients, carers and relevant stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualised, quality treatment, screening and support programs with clients, carers and relevant stakeholders (home, outreach and/or centre-based)
- Assist clinicians in preparing and running groups, including contacting clients on group/triage lists and preparing them for groups
- Maintain accurate client file documentation, ensuring it supports the standards for documentation and quality improvement requirements within the agency
- Contribute to regular statistical input into relevant client databases
- Order and monitor equipment and consumables as needed
- Participate in regular monthly meetings to share knowledge and best practices
Key Qualifications:
- Suitably qualified, preferably holding a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or higher
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in AHA work in community health or equivalent settings
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse client groups, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, aged persons and individuals with disabilities
- Experience conducting group programs and excellent communication skills
- Strong written and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
