In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Together, we will strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes dignity, respect, and happiness for all our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, including toileting, transferring, and ambulating
  • Assist with mealtime routines, including serving meals and snacks, and supporting residents with eating and drinking
  • Engage residents in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being, such as exercise programs, crafts, and social events
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior to the nursing team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a caregiving or healthcare role
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care that prioritizes the needs and preferences of our residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges

Benefits:

  • A competitive hourly rate of up to $96,000 (dependent on experience level), plus penalties and superannuation
