Role Overview

As a Pathology Collector at Healius, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organisation. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team of healthcare professionals in the role of Pathology Collector.

About the Role

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for every patient and sample.
  • Ensuring the timely processing and documentation of samples for testing.
  • Collaborating with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to achieve seamless sample collection and transportation.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a healthcare background.
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
  • Organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic.
  • Hold a valid Driver's license and have flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.

Vaccine Requirements

  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role.
  • Other vaccinations based on location may be required.
