Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our winemaking team as a laboratory support assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the winemaking team with laboratory management, analysis, record-keeping, and cellar operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about wine and has excellent laboratory skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the winemaking team with laboratory management, including recording keeping and data entry, monitoring winery wastewater systems, and performing fining trials and sample preparation.
  • Perform general cellar work, including working flexible hours during vintage time.

Requirements
  • Motivated and reliable individual with great work ethic.
  • Skilled in laboratory analysis.
  • Experienced in record keeping, preferably with software relevant to the wine industry.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel with strong computer skills.
  • Strong team player and communicator.
  • Understanding of winery cellar work processes and basic winemaking principles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Will to work flexible hours during vintage period.
