Bremerton Vintners Pty Ltd is a progressive family owned and run winery that has built a solid reputation for producing premium regional wines. The modern winery processes up to 700T annually and is located in Langhorne Creek, 25 minutes from Mt Barker and less than 1hr from Adelaide.

JOB PURPOSE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting the winemaking team with support in (but not limited to) laboratory management, analysis, record-keeping and cellar operations.

1. Laboratory Management - routine analysis, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, sample collection, stock management,

IWAG, quality control, lab data entry.

2. Winemaking Support - record keeping and data entry (excel and Winefile), WH&S records, SOP's etc

Fining trials and sample preparation

Monitoring winery wastewater system

3. General Cellar Work - working flexible hours during vintage time

Job Requirements
- A highly motivated and reliable person - Great work ethic
- Skilled in Laboratory analysis
- Experienced in record keeping (experience with Winefiles/winery software would be advantageous)
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel with great computer skills
- A strong team player and communicator
- Understanding of winery cellar work processes and basic winemaking principles
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willing and able to work flexible hours during the vintage period (extended hours and weekends).
- Pride in being part of a small, successful team making high quality wines.
