Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at JPS Recruitment Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects valued between $1-$12 million.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be working closely with our site team to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing site teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Coordinating and supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Ensuring the health and safety of site personnel and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables

About Our Client:

Our client is a reputable Head Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Sydney and the Western Suburbs. They have a strong pipeline of projects and are looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join their team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and site personnel
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues
  • Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, codes, and standards
