Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Manager to oversee site operations and ensure the successful delivery of a significant earthworks project in Sydney. This role offers a temporary opportunity with a reputable tier 3 civil contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Supervise and manage daily earthworks activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Team Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage project schedules to report progress to the Project Manager.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with design plans, and assist with procurement, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication and organizational skills to work autonomously and within a team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in earthworks and civil projects, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety regulations.
