Senior Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of building construction and upgrade projects across South East Queensland.

  • This role involves managing projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and be able to develop and implement effective project management plans.

We require a senior-level professional with extensive experience in client-side project management for building construction/upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage building construction/upgrade projects from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, assessing delivery options and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate procurement strategies, value engineering, and lifecycle considerations to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Engage and manage consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with project briefs and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare tenders in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, reporting, and performance tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, including Principal's Representative and Contract Superintendent roles.
  • Qualifications in building construction or related disciplines.
  • Sound understanding of contract law, industry standards, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, preparing project reports and stakeholder updates.
