Chief Project Coordinator

Job Title:
A Chief Project Coordinator with expertise in mechanical or civil engineering is required to support clients in the mining and mineral processing industry.
About the Role:
- Lead project delivery, focusing on small or large-scale projects within an EPCM environment.
- Interpret technical information and integrate efforts alongside broader engineering coordination.
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and risk in alignment with EPCM delivery models.
- Oversee contractor performance, procurement packages, and construction interfaces.
- BUILD strong relationships with internal stakeholders, EPCM partners, and client representatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully manage projects from feasibility through to execution and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress.
- Co-ordinate teams and contribute to project goal achievement.
- Develop and implement sustainable solutions for the improvement of project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Actively promote a safe working environment and ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Experience delivering mining or mineral processing projects (preferably coal) within an EPCM framework.
- Proven leadership skills in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
