About Us
We are seeking a commercially-minded In-House Legal Counsel to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
The role will provide a broad range of legal and commercial support across the business, with exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Providing practical legal advice to business leaders on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Supporting marketing, sales, supply chain, and procurement teams with legal input.
- Managing external counsel where required.
- Assisting with governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- Supporting broader projects and strategic initiatives within the FMCG environment.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years PQE, with experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house environment.
A strong background in commercial law is essential; FMCG, retail, or consumer sector experience is highly regarded.
You should possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a commercial and solutions-focused approach.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment are also crucial.
A proactive, collaborative, and hands-on style is essential for this role.
