Job Title:

A Superintendent Role to Deliver Complex Projects

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled professionals to undertake long-term, world-leading training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S. This is a unique opportunity to work with other skilled professionals and develop your skills in project management, engineering, production, and testing.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, engineering, production, and testing. They will work with other professionals to integrate project requirements to ensure that resources are available when needed.

Candidates must be able to determine the scope of work packages, evaluate the ability of shipyards to support work packages, and recommend modifications if necessary. They will also monitor project budgets and overtime expenditures and key aspects of project work progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 defence clearance.
  • Proven ability to plan/manage/execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Experience leading multi-discipline teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Degree in engineering, nuclear science, or a related technical field.
  • Certification/s in Project Management.
  • Completion of NAVSEA or Navy nuclear training programs.
Benefits:

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop their skills in a variety of areas. They will also receive comprehensive on-the-job training combined with instructor-led classroom training during deployment, in accordance with company and US Navy processes and procedures.

After deployment, candidates will return to Western Australia to carry out planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines. Repatriation to WA is non-negotiable.
