Project Coordinator Role

This role involves coordinating complex workforce development initiatives, managing project activities across all phases of the project lifecycle, and overseeing smaller planning and training projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans that align with strategic goals.
  • Liaise daily with key stakeholders, including team members, specialists, and senior leadership.
  • Support the creation and delivery of scopes of work and project packages within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to risk identification and management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare reports, coordinate project reviews, and maintain project performance metrics.
  • Monitor project progress, analyse variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain project management systems to ensure governance, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
About You:
  • Tertiary or Vocational qualifications in a technical or management discipline.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar project environment, preferably in the Defence industry.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of project management methodologies, financial management, stakeholder management, and personnel management.
  • Experience and proficiency in relevant project management applications.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong planning, organisation, and multitasking skills with resilience, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships and deliver customer-focused outcomes.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
