The role of Principal Resolution Officer involves leading the delivery of high-quality resolution of complaints through local resolution and conciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the effective delivery of complaint resolution services in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Build and sustain relationships to facilitate collaboration in delivering resolution functions.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance the resolution function's contribution to the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on effective resolution skills, including leading conciliations.
- Support and supervise team members in managing health complaints through the resolution process and provide feedback/coaching/mentoring.
- Contribute to high-level advice and consultation processes with other teams to identify effective resolution strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a keen understanding of relevant legislation and policy.
A successful appointment requires completion of a criminal history check and disclosure of any serious disciplinary action prior to commencement.
